Good match for this

I'm thinking of moving my home theater sub to the car and was looking for a good amp to match it with. It's a Shiva X-2 and I'll be building a sealed box between 1-1.5 cubes. I originally was going to go with a MB Quart 12 but thought the Shiva would probably kick some but in the car and give me an excuse to upgrade it to a 15 in the house //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Is this sub is rated at 1000 rms or peak?

If 1000 rms, you could look at these. They might be a little over 200 but, Kicker 1200.1, Elemental Designs 9.1, Orion 1200D.

You should check the Classified section for a better deal. You could probably find something better than these for around 200.

http://www.diycable.com/main/pdf/Shiva-X2%20App-note.pdf is what I'm going by. So anything between 500-1500 is what it lists for a box that size.
