Just to look noice and have good sound quality.

I bought one of these for my wife's car for the sole reason that she wanted a stereo that she could upload her own pictures as a wallpaper, which I thought was actually pretty cool.

But I was surprised at the sound quality of the HU. I wasn't really expecting much from a Panasonic. It might not have all the features of a high-end HU, but it is pretty good for the price. I think I got it on ebay for around $130 shipped a year ago.

You could probably get a better Alpine HU or something for the price though.
