Good head unit for Ipod?

Well either Ipod or a laptop(Lulz go ahead and make fun of me for that) is there any head unit that would allow me to plug my laptop into it? I got this really nice addon for WMP that really makes the music sound a lot better but there is no way to get that onto my ipod since it is an addon. Otherwise whats a good ipod head unit?

I have an Alpine CDA-9887 and absolutely love it...listen to most my iPod through it. Of course, there are less expensive options out there.

Ya I have this one, but for some reason when I select the song through the deck, not the ipod, it kills the ipod.

I was looking at some with the same plugs as a computers audio outlet, I'm wondering if those work if you plug the computer audio outlet into that?(Same type of plug the ipod headphone jack uses)
