good free P2P networks?

ive been using limewire for years and now it sux. ive got the latest version and everytime i search for something, nothing comes up. ive tried completely turning off my firewall too. sometimes ill get a few search results, but not really much at all. whats going on? do people use a different service now?

I use newsgroups but that isn't free. But if you want something decent and free try ForstWire. But those program's are in the past. Torrents and Newgroups are the big thing these day's.

If you're looking for music, I posted a thread the other day about how to get into What.cd. Look for it.

Torrents and newsgroups are the best route for anything, each with their respective advantages and disadvantages.

if you going the torrent route. I would highly recommend Utorrent. its a great, adjustable, and has a nice simplistic gui. It's my preferred BitTorrent client. also I would join a private tracker, stay away from leechers, and don't be one.

LimwWire has been f'in up for me lately too. I might need to get with the times with this torrent stuff. Somebody fill me in cause I've never messed with torrents.
