All I want to do right now in my car is simply use my MDF baffle mounted to the metal frame with a foam barrier in between the MDF and frame.

Are there any midbass drivers that sound good in this situation? Or will I really have to build some fiberglass enclosures.

Amp is a ZAPCO AG 150, so nothing that needs too much power.

i wanted to know the same thing..... im using birch baffles to switchs my rear 6x9 for 6 1/2 in midbass speakers in, i picked up some id oem's, will be installing them tonight hopefully, we'll see how they do in free air....
