i was lookin on Ebay at some RE's and came across Duel XXX 15's in a box for 325 dollers buy now... and i was lookin at REaudio.com brand new only one 15's costs 399 so duel XXX 15's on ebay for 325 seemed like a good deal and the subs of xxx were in a box that he was saleing is this a good deal? he said he only used them for about a month..

$325 wouldn't be a bad deal, if they weren't an odd vc configuration. He said he had them made in dual 4ohm coils for easier hookup compatibility, that's not right. Most class A/B's max at 4ohm mono, and most class D's max at 1ohm mono, both of which is acheived by the XXX's standard dual 2ohm coil config. With dual 4's... I dunno, run a class A/B to each coil? I hate doing that tho. Maybe one very big class D to a pair of dual4 ohm subs? But one amp for two XXX's would be huge.
