Need a head unit with low/high pass filter (whatever stops the bass from going to the stock door speaker and sends it to my sub). Aux or usb input, and i think custome eq. Is that were you can edit how loud the bass and treble is? Anything this look to have everything i need for a pretty decent price. Even has 30 different colors u can set it at haha. Tell me what you guys think and if its a good choice. I only have a 12 inch kicker and kenwood amp. Using a line out converter atm.

The better way to stop bass going to your speakers is to use a crossover ran back to the amp, which will cut higher frequencies from getting to your sub, that way you shouldn't need to turn up the bass on the head unit.

you could also use an equalizer.

but the best way to get better sound in general from your stock speakers is by buying a low output 4 (or 2 depending on the # of speakers) amp for cheap, and using the Low pass filter on it.

cruthfield = overpriced
but when you by off crutchfield you get instalation parts for free. In my case that includes a 50 dollar dash kit. (08 ford focus)
