Hi all,

I have Tacoma 2008 Access Cab and just recently got Pioneer AVH-4000NEX and was wondering what's good solution for bypassing parking brake while watching videos. I need to for my little one on long rides so he can watch cartoons.

Searching online few popup diybypass, microbypass etc.

Any recommendations?

TIA

return it and get a Kenwood or JVC.
Funny that you said that but I bought Alpine IVE-W555BT first and did not like the sound so I returned it. Pioneer's sound is much better. Day and night difference in my opinion and that's with factory speakers!

I would not go to anything else.

Before it got stolen I had Pioneer AVH-P4400BH.

well, Alpine and Pioneer are temperamental when bypassed especially the new units. Kenwood and JVC are just grounding out the brake.

That doesn't make any sense. The directions say to hook it up to the parking brake. The parking brake is engaged when the car is off. You...
