It should power them fine rockford usually underrates their amps and the sa-12's are underrated as well not sure what they really can take daily but I saw some guy on youtube giving his like 1400rms a piece Idk about 1400 but i think they could handle 900-1000rms I guess I'll find out when my aq2200d comes lol.

i powered mine with the t2000db and they took every bit of power, they will sound great at 1500 rms
