Good Budget amp to run a RD sonance 15@2 ohm

Ive been looking at the powerbass asa1500. its 750@2ohms and 1500@1ohm.

it sounds like it would be perfect for me. because i eventually want to ditch the rd and go with a FI Q15 and run it at 1 ohm.

how is the sq and output of the powerbass 1500?

i can get a 1500 powerbass for $280 new.

I cant vouch for the pb1500s but the audio pipe ap1500ds are like 150 new online and do 1500rms @1. If i could sell my 1750 i was gonna get a pair of those. lol They sound really good.

what does it do at 2ohm? i see a listing for 1 and 4 ohm? should i take a stab and say 900?

Yea some where in that range. Itll be enough to rock that sonace. I used to have 2 12in sonaces before i got the alphas.

cool. i have been running it off of twin 15 year old mtx blue thunder pro75x2's. LOL. one bridged to each coil but i disconnected it because one of the amps is weaker than the other and im afraid of f'ing up the coil. plus even after i gain matched them with a dmm they get screwed up because the gain knobs move slightly when i really pound the sub. so i am just rocking a deck and dash speakers till the connectors for my ppi amps show up in the mail.

lol nice if you ever wanna get rid of those ill take them off of your hands lol they would go nicely with my 2 50x4s lol those r still some beast amps

i want to. what would you be offering? right now my uncle is borrowing one. i will tell you now , one has never been opened but the other one (the one with more power IMO) is missing both power caps. they rattled loose when i had the amp mounted to my 10" box in my old car. it still pounds hard but i would recommend getting them replaced.

ap15001 dose 950rms rated @ 2ohms. be careful buying online non authorised cause that is below dealer cost getting referbished or b stock and non factory warrenty. just fyi...

k. i wont be able to get it for awhile but my uncle is ordering one after work. he is gonna use it to power 2 w1 10's. i told him he should be ok as long as he turns the gains down pretty low. they are 300 watts each i think so he would be pushing about 475 continuous into each one. i think if he is careful they will be ok though.
