Good bassrace hu under $250 or so

Ok guys I'm beginning the build for the burban and wanted to know who have used more than one hu what to buy.

I've only used my alpine-cda 9886 when testing and competing.

I heard pioneer can be nice due 50 Plus clicks to dial it into.

I like the 9886 but wanted to see what would be more efficient for me to have.

If you want to bass race don't use the volume knob, I highly suggest using a bass knob or something that doesn't click to dial it in. With one click you might see as big of a jump as 1dB even on the units that go up to 50. With that being said I love my MVH-8200. It has a full color LCD screen, usb/aux, 3 preouts, 4v, etc. The only thing that's a pain is pausing because you have to open up a menu to pause it. So if you want something to do burps on I suggest getting the remote for it as it has a pause button on it which makes burping much easier for you and your subs.

I have a brand new Rockford Fosgate DVD player ...Thats design for Marine use...I bought two I used one in in my Wrangler and it never skipped it averaged 154dbs.....The other was a spare back up I never used...These were designed for Marine enviroment to take a lot of abuse...It has aux and USB and 4vs Im actually thinking 5vs...If intrested PM me...I may sell it...
