but really if you want to hear the bass, you'll need a powered subwoofer for most applications

I prefer my AudioTechincas to those sonys...they lack the low end imo...its like its not there at all

I have a pair of the Sony MDR-V6 and they are flat all the way down to 20 hz. Killer headphones for the money.

For example, I had my headphones on, turned up to about medium loud, and I was at this website. http://www.shocker.com.br/produtos.php . I thought the dorm I was in was collapsing, it was crazy.

I don't personally have a pair of the sonys, the studio at my school has a few pairs. Just not a fan of them if I'm using headphones...which is rare anymore
