good 8" for a small sealed enclosure

Right now I have a sundown sd-2 8" in a sealed fiberglass enclosure. It sounds great, but would still like a bit more bass.

I was thinking of getting an sa8 to replace it with, but I have heard they are not recommended for sealed enclosures. Does anybody have experience running a sa8 in a sealed box? Does it sound like ****? Will it sound better then the sd-2?

Was also thinking maybe getting a sd-2 10" and building a new box.

Any suggestions would be great.

this is my set up as of now. I need to keep the enclosure around this size so I can still open my false floor to access my air ride

What do you expect? Its an 8" sub on low power in a sealed box.

I ran an SA8v2 in a ported box and it sounded great. Not loud enough, but overall good. The SD series is optimized for sealed, so I doubt the SA would be better.

What's the box volume? You may be able to do an aeroport with an SA8v2
