Good 6.5 Coaxials off HU

What are some decent Coaxials that will run off of a Kenwood HU 22X4 and sound pretty good. I was looking at some CDT's and Rainbows but should I be looking at something cheaper and more efficient? I used to do the comps etc and fully do the doors but this is a company car. I will have a sub hooked up.

Yeah if your running off hu power then CDT or Rainbow's arent what you need, look at something that has a low power handling.

why not get an amp to poser what you have...you'll loose sq...trying to run deck power

You can look at the Alpine SPS-600 61/2's... They worked for my friend...

I have an amp for them but it is just a matter of whether or not I want to install it under the other front seat (sub amp under drivers). I was trying not to get carried away and just keep it simple using stock speakers with HU. Now I am looking into door speakers and on and on and on. I had to get rid of my last company car which I had set up perfectly. 150 x's 2 to the Alumapro comps and 1500 x 1 to a 15 inch mag.

infinity reference speakers would work well with that.

When I was in between amps, I had a pair of MB Quart RCE 216's running off of a '05 Kenwood HU....it was decent. However, those are comps not coaxials.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have a sickness, it started with "I will use the stock speakers no amp" then it went to amp with stock, then it went to coax now I am thinking amp with comps which I have always done but it is a good amount of work to do it right

Check out infinity. They have some 2 ohm coaxial speakers that do well off of HU power. Id stay away from anything that takes more than 50WRMS unelss its rated at 2 ohm.

polk is pretty decent off HU. I like them.

Look at the ARC KS line off of woofersetc.com for great performance on HU power.
