what are some good 5 channel amps. im looking for around 100x4 and 1000x1 but doesnt have to be that exactly. also it will be ran off stock electrical. priced under 700

hifonics has a new 5 channel . has 1000 rms sub channel . only $349. you cant beat it to power a whole system. Has dual power supplys, 4 channels are class a/b and class d sub channel. and cea rated now

I have the hifonics and I would recommend it. For around 360 it's gotta be one of the cheapest if not the cheapest route to get that kind of power in a 5 channel design. And I'm running it on stock electrical 130 amp alt no big three (yet) factory batt and 1/0 wire run to the amp. My only complaint is the crossover labeling but that's preference anyway as they work fine.

half your budget too, i dont think you would hear a noticable difference paying 350 more unless you needed more power on four channels. you can bridge the hifonics to give you 240x2 for your front stage, more than enough for almost any components.

I recommend that Hifonics too, I'd love to use one but I don't have an application for it.

That boston is a very clean underated amp.

It maybe made by Audison!

For $200 i would give it a try & if it doesnt do the job for you you can return it Boston for a full return.

Yes i like buying amps, I'm running the GT40.

I replaced the MB Quarts dcs 4.125.

the DCS is something like 125x4

the boston is 55x4

on the MB quarts i had the gains 3/4 of the way up on my Markaudio mids.

With the boston i have the gains at 1/2 way & i can't even turn it up past 70, max is 80 eclipse head unit.

the distortion level is much cleaner without much coloration.

the mb quarts had a lot of coloration.

i had a jl 500/1 on my 8inch midbass which where amazing sounding.

now i have the boston bridged rear channel on my midbass & with only 240-120 per side i still great tight clean midbass, & yes it goes low with that Q setting on the amp

maxxsonics amps are good solid,but if you are looking to power your system on a budget with a solid amp i would read the reviews on this amp
