Good 4 channel amp without spending too much?

Yeah a proper preout signal is needed along with most stock head units having their own built in high pass filters which blocks a lot of bass as well. For mids and highs, i has a built in EQ curve that specifically works on stock speakers and doesnt really work well on aftermarkets. Eventually you want to get a higher quality loc or if budget allows, a budget digital sound processor
Might be better to
Would something like an AudioControl LC7i be able to improve sound quality across the board? And could I have it connected to my Mono and 2 channel amp at the same time? Also, my signal for the sub is tapped in at the rear speakers because that was the best option lol

Yea I would say the AudioControl would be the next best thing after a proper headunit and/or processor. Don't get the cheap a$$ line outs, they are pretty wack. If you want some real sound quality improvements tho, then think about saving up for a DSP in the future.

Should the difference be quite significant in the subwoofer department? I have an Infinity Kappa 12 sealed and it just isn't what I expected. I get some roll off that i expect from ported and when I listen to heavy rock sometimes the bass is not too clean and sounds too boomy for some reason. I'm just getting into audio, so sorry for the dumb questions again lol I don't have enough $ for sound deadener as well so would you think spend $ on the nicer LOC is better than a cheaoer LOC and deadener on the long run?

With how much that cost, you could have gotten a ppi 88r or soundstream harmony for not much more and you get a legit dsp. Audiocontrol are outdated dinosaur units. Ancient AF. Offers no sound tuning options, weak DACs compared to modern dsps.

While the soundstream and ppi allow for 31 bands of eq, 4 way network crossover capabilities along with time alignment as well. Audiocontrol LOCs cant even hold a candle

A minidsp 2x4 is cheap and works well too.

Well, the Harmony isn't available online anymore and the PPI is out of my price range lol Should the LC7i still make a big difference over a PAC? Like will it be better for my 2 channel and improve bass quality from the sub?

Itll be a stronger signal but id honestly wait and get the ppi instead. Theres zero reasons to wast money on ancient tech. The ppi is 180 while the audiocontrol is 130. The 50 dollar difference is well worth it. Its comparing a college line backer vs a middle school line backer. In terms of performance.

I agree with your statement but being that the LC7i is $70 cheaper on Amazon compared to the 88R I'll probably go with that. Sure, I'd be happier with the 88R, but for the price, I'll probably be satisfied with the LC7i. A cleaner signal and restored bass is well worth $110 for me lol. Just trying to keep in a budget of about $350 or less Inc install
