good 10" SQL subs

I'm helping one of my friends install a system in her explorer. I'm looking for a good set of 10" subs that have about a 60/40 SQ/SPL split. They need to be dual 4 ohm or single 2 ohm because i want to use the avionixx 400.2. She listens to alot of punk music so i don't want them to be sloppy. Oh, and they gotta be under $100 a piece.

So far these are what i have in mind:

Elemental Designs Kx-150 RMS, $75 a piece

Resonant Engineering RE-175 RMS, anybody know the price on these?

Orion C10-$80 a piece, 200 RMS

Any other suggestions?

Might be a stretch on the price, but what about a Type-R?

id go with the RE's....

and port em. output should be decent as well as SQ.

save up a lil and get the k series from ED youll be more than satisfied

Yeah, i was thinking of the K's too, but then that requires a bigger amp, and inevidably more money. I'm gonna talk to her tonight and see how much money she's willing to spend. I'll get back to you guys.

Oh, and the 10" RE's haven't come out yet, so those are out of the question for right now.

EDIT: Also, i was shooting for 2 10"s, but i might just go with one 10" if i can get the same(or more)output than 2 10"s. Maybe she should look at the SE, do you guys think one 10" SE can take on 2 of the subs listed above? I know the 10" SE is only $165, so that's a good start.

That's what i was thinking of, but since i want to use the avionixx 400.2, i couldn't(dual 4-ohm). I was talking with SNOVA last night and i think we're gonna go with a single 10" or 12" K (single 4 ohm) powered by the 400.2(giving the K 400 RMS, perfect). She likes punk music so i had to get something with decent SQ, but can still get loud. Gonna build a 1 ft^3 sealed enclosure for her explorer, should sound pretty d*mn good.
