What brand new struts only last 40k miles? I hope you don't mean new stock struts because they aren't made to be used in combo with lowering springs.I have brand new struts on there they wont go out for atleast 40k miles from now and then I should have some money to upgrade them.

what about cars that come lowered from factory? my civic came with "honda performance package" which means body kit and lowering springs. the struts are all honda oem. are those not "made to be lowered"?What brand new struts only last 40k miles? Nothing wrong with that as long as it's temporary. The new struts came with the car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifI know they arent made for it I am just low on funds for them right now.
Hopefully I will have enough cash to buy some new ones before these ones go out.
Coilovers are very expensive. IDK about other platforms, but for my car I can get top of the line springs and struts for 4-600, but coilovers are around 8+.shoulda got coilovers..wouldnt have any of these problems and they are adjustable
In the case that it comes lowered from the factory, then I'm sure they tweaked the struts to hold up to the factory lowering springs.what about cars that come lowered from factory? my civic came with "honda performance package" which means body kit and lowering springs. the struts are all honda oem. are those not "made to be lowered"?
