How many of you golf and tell some of your golf stories. (funny/awesome shots/etc.)

I'll start off w/ one of my mediocre stories.

A buddy and I were playing at this rinkydink 18 hole par 58 course. It's one of the shittiest courses I've ever seen, but it's a good course for practicing your short game. On one of the holes, you can't see hte green, and from the green you can't see hte tee box, so golfers are supposed to hit this "cowbell" when they finish the hole to let the golfers on the tee box know that they are done. The cowbell is just a big keg and you hit it with a metal pole. So me and a buddy get this idea to park our cart in the woods, and we hit the cowbell run to safety, the guys above us hit there ball, and we go steal it. We hide in the woods and watch them look for the ball, we did this to 4 or 5 people that day, and boy was it a blast. The last guy that was playing, we put his ball in the hole and made a divot, you should have seen this guy, we were laughing so hard in the woods. I read about his "hole" in one on the bulletin board the next week I went to play. It still brings giggles to me as I tell this story.

I am the cook at a country club and twice a year we have a big tourny and they get about 20 strippers to come up ride the carts around etc. last year I get to work and theres 4 of them dildon each other on the 9th hole by the club house.

I accidentally drove a cart into one the lakes once. We hauled *** and have never showed up since, which is also the reason I don't give my real name when I get a tee time.

I golf every once in awhile, I've never got a hole in one, but I did hit a guy... and that was way more satisfying. You're supposed to yell "four!" but I was too busy mumbling, "there's no way thats gonna hit him"

workn at my job up there when its dead in the resturant i sit on the back deck and look over the course and its always a good laugh watching people get hit or people hitting a tree etc. The deer and stuff are pretty friendly here so are the skunks so they go right up to you on the course and its funny to watch people haul *** to the carts when the skunks come out of the woods up to them

I tried to hit a guy once, jackass was trying to collect balls out of hte lake, and I got tired of waiting for him to go, so I busted out the 4 iron and whacked one about 10 yards over his head. He waited after I got done with the hole and said "you're not supposed to hit the ball until I move onto the next hole" I said, well I didn't think you were playing, I thought you were scuba diving for golf balls". He let us go ahead of him...lol.

I almost made an Eagle from about 80yd out with my ball sitting in the top of a bush. It was pretty skillful.

Ive got a semi funny story about a cart. Well me and "alpineinstaller" play golf pretty regularly, and last time we were at a very very shitty par 27, 9 hole course (thats right every hole is a par 3). Well after a serious round of 9 we decided that we would play the back nine with nothing but pitching wedges and putters, but the catch was after you teed off with the wedge you had to use the putter the rest of the way. and by hole 6 or so we had gotten dammn good at this style of golf. So on the way to 7 we see this "trail" that goes off into the woods, so Blake (alpine) cuts over onto this **** trail, and before we knew it, He slammed the cart right into a tree, and in the process knocked the ground terminal off of the battery, so we had to finish the course with seat up holding the wire on the terminal. Sorry if the story isnt that funny, Golf isnt a sport that lends itself to hilliarious stories.

"trails" lol, I've found my fair share of trails, one time on a trail, a big tree branch ripped the plastic top right off the cart.

Lol, my brother got caught stealing a golf cart once. After he drove it around all day tearing it apart, he was bringing it back to the people's house and the battery exploded. He ditched the cart on the side of the road and just as he was walking away the "owners" were driving down the road, he ended up getting busted.

I am an avid(sp) golfer, for the past 5 years i have gone atleast 3 times a week, this last year however i did not golf once because i needed to save some money.

Well a few years back I went golfing with a couple of my fathers friends. We were at a par 3, 185 yard hole. My dads friend hit the ball and it went totally of course. It sliced like i have never seen a ball slice in my life. I was laughing pretty hard when i saw it go in the air. It landed on another holes green probably about a foot from the hole. We thought it was going to be a hole in one.

Well no one was around so he decided to play the ball. Half of his right foot was in the hole and he took his swing, and all you could hear was WHACK!!!!! He hit a tree no more then 15 feet from us, and it shot directly back at one of the other guys and hit him right on his chin. I was laughing so hard even though the guy was in serious pain, i hadnt ever seen anything like it.

Also when i was about 14 I was playing with my friend and my little brother came along, at the time he was about 9. When we were finished he decided to sit on a golf cart parked downhill. He pushed the parking brake down and it took of straight at a River. Some guy from no where pulled a MacGuiver (Sp) and threw him out of the cart while jumping in and turning it. Funny thing was the guy came no more then 3 in from running over my brother, he had to swerve out of the way.

I guess these stories are probably only funny if you were there to see it, but i loved it
