There was a B&W speaker sale on ebay that I posted some time back. The speaker pair was worth in the neighborhood of 10k NEW, and they were used. The bidding stopped at 7k until this guy bid 30k, and eventually won it with a bid of 110k (even though no one else bid).

That, to me, sounds like the seller got played into paying exhorbitant Final Value Fees rather than someone who wanted to pay more than 10x an item's actual worth....
