Ive seen gold on most amps, i thin kits supposed to make it sound more expensive. Iv enever noticed any diffrences. Les resistance in the metal i guess.

Not just talkin about amps.. Like Platinum distro blocks vs gold distro's...gold plated terminals vs gold.. etc.

So was I. Its all marketing tactics. Have you ever seen bare copper? Witha pretty gold or platinum plated product of the same nature which would you buy and why?

ANy othere person owuld hit up the gold one, becaus eof one word, GOLD, One of the most expensive metals, But people dont realize that the old pokemon toys at mcdonalds that had the "gold plated" nugget inside the plastic ball was worth shit. They put VERY thin layers on just to make it seem like the item is worth more.

platinum is worse than gold colored ones, dunno if it was copper or gold plated, bumpin yota has explained to me. why would u want something COATING UR METAL!? dont we scrape it off the car, why would u want something blockign a metal to metal contact?
