Going to Vegas!

lax is a great club. pick up some of the little coupon books that are all over the place. in march we went on a 5 hour atv ride though the desert, with lunch and shuttle service from out hotel, for $150. hit up the indoor gas gocart place - $50 for 3 runs. rainforest cafe inside mgm is a great place to eat. the really cheap meals can be found in old vegas (downtown - freemont st). they also have a nice light show on the huge overhead canopy every hour on the hour.

be sure to go to get as much free stuff as you can from the hotel/casinos at the customer service centers. Also always eat at buffets, never eat single course nothing or fast food. the Bellagio has an awesome buffet for all meal times

freemont street!!! FTW.

ever since the first time there i have never bothered with "new" vegas again. everytime i go to vegas (which is three or four times a year) I still have the most fun down there.

there is nothing like watching some bum beg for a dollar and then take the dollar into the golden nugget put it in a slot and then turn around and do it all over again. lol you can see what lasvegas is truly all about down under the lights.

Same here. I stayed on the strip my first time in vegas, I've stayed downtown ever since. Maybe its because I'm getting older but I like the laid back atmosphere of downtown better, and its cheaper.

You can catch the occasional boxing match down there too with good cheap seats right up at the ring. Nothing like 20 dollar seats at a boxing match and 3 dollar beers the size of a super big gulp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm leaving in 3 hours and it looks like I'll definitely have to go to Freemont street. My friend also said that if we go to a bar or lounge with the video poker machines on the bar, if you put in $20 you get free drinks. He said last time he was with his dad, they put in $20 got a free drink and took it right back out. The bartender gave them that tip. **** 3 more hours before I leave.
