Going IB eventually, think I'll be happy?

Im not talking about the sound quality, the output is what concerns me. I now have in my possession two IDQ 12s, V1s with the SVC 4 ohm voice coil. Got them for a good price so i figured they would be a good candidate for an affordable sub stage...Im just tired of having boxes...

Those who have experience with using two similar 12s, how was the output? Im not looking to break any records, I just hopefully want to find someone in a similar situation which is as follows.

I had a single AA assassin in a ported enclosure with 300 watts going to it, anyone gone from a single eight or ten ported to two 12s IB? i have as much as 250 watts per sub to work with...I want to be close to that level of loudness. Enough to hear fairly well in the freeway...

Its a long shot, but maybe I can get feedback...

Well taking X-max into account the IDs have about four times the displacement potential of the single 8, roughly, just for comparisons sake thats around 6db louder under ideal conditions if they were both in similar enclosures....

Now comparing a single ported to two 12s IB is the hard part, im sure someone has done something similar...

you should be just fine though, i had a pair, they didn't get that loud, but they weren't necessarily slouches, either

Thanks will do, yeah They dont need to be incredible, just looking for clean LOW bass, and no box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I could always upgrade the subs if I ever want to when i actually have funds to do so...thanks for the words of encouragement...
