I was wondering if i will get more power out of my system if i went from 4 guage down to a 0 guage? I have (2) 12" Digital Audio subs that are 1500 watts rms each being ran by a 2400 watt digital audio amp. I also have a 6 channnel DA mid amp and a 3.5 farad capaciter. IM trying to get the most power i can out of my system.

t1990...he's using an off-brand...chill he doesnt need to spend all that money....
lol its better to already have it for when u decide to get something that actually lays some power down. Im workin on my electrical and will be upgraded soon. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Are you talking about replacing the whole thing with 0 ga or going from 4 ga and splicing a piece of 0 ga to the 4 ga? IMHO using 0 GA to connect your equipment to a 4 gauge source is worthless. You are limited by that 4 ga. If it were reverse and you were splitting multiple 4 ga runs from a single 0 ga it would be ok but really your 0 ga is only going to be an over sized and overpriced 4 ga because it reduces down before it hits the battery. If you want more power i would save up and replace the whole run with 0 ga.
