i drive a 2000 ford focus with an I4 8V SPI engine w/ 94,xxx miles. it gets good gas mileage, but this tank im going for the unthinkable. i can reach 300miles on a tank if i stay off the throttle. i filled up wed. nov. 9th. and i am almost at 1/2tank, i have gone 176.x miles. What i am trying to do is go for 400miles on a tank of gas. wish me luck.

If the Focus is like...well...every car I've ever owned or driven the gas needle will move much faster on the backside of 1/2 than it did on the frontside.

i have never nor will i ever see that kind of number. my car gets freakin truck milage... how big are your tanks though? or at least how much are you burning...i usually do about 16 gallons every time

yeah mines 18, ive gotten 500 before, 30 miles highway at about 56 mph is nice.... . cruise control is nice some times

haha, no shit, i had 85+ miles on it, before it passed the Full line.then the next 20-30 miles it went down to 3/4.

I have gotten over 400 in my 2002 cavalier. It has the ecotec in it and is a 5 speed manual. It was mostly highway miles and I didnt get on it at all. I usually get around 350 a tank when I get on it.

As far as the guy that gets 500 a tank? You should get that with an 18 gallon tank. Hell if I had an 18 gallon tank on my cav I would easily get over 600.

i get like 18 in my v6 dakota, and my needle seems to move less near the F and E and faster between, and it also goes past the E yay!
