Shake that laffy taffy
yup either get like a scotch scuff pad , steel wool or like a 320 grit like mentioned between every coat , make sure you tack all the dust off
in betweein those coats you need to scuff sand with 320 then tack off ALL of the dust, if it feels gritty thats why, you should be able to fix it, sand it with 320 a shit load , tack it off then spray one more coat of lacquer on good, it just disolves the old lacuer and evens it all outnope no stain at all, and i'm not doing anything that matt said. someone make a list of things i need to do for me please? i really am not good at this at all. here's what i did and they were ****ed:
1. built cabinets ( for some ****ing reason i decided to put the drivers in before lacquering (i've never done that before and i don't know why i'd ****ing start now but that can be fixed (touch up)))
2. masked openings
3. one coat of primer
4. 120 grit sand
5. second coat primer
6. 220 grit sand.
7. 3 coats of lacquer (first coat went on like a dream, then after second coat dried i saw it was ****ing terrible like it didn't stick...)
8. 1 coat of clear coat lacquer
what should i be doing?
