I'll be the first to admit I definitely do not know everything on this subject, didnt mean to say you were wrong. I'm not looking for this to turn into "I'm right, you're wrong". 4 basic forces, Strong, Weak, Electromagnetism, and Gravity. What you mentioned sounds like an example of Strong force, or maybe even a combination of two or more forces. Am I missing something here, because you said our knowledge of graving only works on the surface of the Earth. Therefore you're saying that we have no control and cannot accurately predict how gravity in space will affect certain objects.

That's just it. We were taught that, which is how we are able to apply mathematics to gravity, but the fact of the matter is, off of the Earth's surface, shit gets wild bro, and gravity is no longer constant.
Its not like we have to worry about the moon crashing into us, but still, if Hawking was so **** smart, I'd expect him to have a deep logical understanding of what he's using as a talking point to his side of the argument. And if he does, I want to know about it.

I have to agree with RAM on this one. I haven't seen any evidence to suggest gravity isn't a constant law throughout the universe (besides black holes).
