There are way too many factors for you to say that. My mom dropped out of High School because she was pregnant with me and then she got her GED then went to college, got her masters and now is Vice President of a big company. It all depends on how you make your life brother. GED or HS diploma doesnt mean alot to an company as long as you got your college degree.

That is very true. My good friends mom is the head of admissions for a state school back home and it doesnt really matter if you have a ged or h.s. diploma. And very few jobs are going to consider your high school background after you have a degree. In fact having a ged and then going to college actually landed me a job b/c it showed I had character to go back.

one of my housemates has a ged and he's doing just fine. i had a sub 2.0 gpa in high school and i'm in the top 10% of my college class. life is what you make it brotha.

I Dropped out in 10th Grade. Got a GED and went to a 2 Yr community College. Then went to a 4 Yr to finish the rest.

I will tell you this, If your math skills are crap, Your SAT will be hard as hell. Lucky I had a Nack for Math and Science. Thats why I took Engineering studies.

Oh Yea, When you pay for it yourself you don't screw off. I ended up with a 3.4 GPA and I'm still taking classes just to stay up.

get your g.e.d, go to a community college to get your associates, transfer to a 4 year.

This is the way to go if you have a GED. In the end, all an employer cares about is where your final degree came from.

As far as high GPA's go. A good college will not weight a GPA. They just see you took AP classes. Those schools tend to be less number oriented anyway. Having a 3000.1 gpa is only important to those who want to flaunt it around.

very good advice here^^^^ also many large universities will allow you to transfer after one full year of community college as long as you are academically sound.

I dropped out of high school when i was 16 and went directly to college. All i really had to do was take the ACT. You'll probably have to start off at a community or junior college. (which is a good idea because the credit hours are alot cheaper and most will transfer to board of regents schools)

Looking back it was the best decision i made in my adolescent life. You just have to be very determined and ready to prove people wrong.

I went from GED to 2 years at a community college. I'm already set to transfer to a university to get my Bachelor's as an RN. I'll spend 3 years as an ICU or critical care nurse, then go to a 2-year Masters program to get my CRNA (Certified RN Anesthetist) certification.

So, I'll basically a nurse, who does the same job and gets almost the same pay as an MD Anesthesiologist, but I don't have to pay all the **** malpractice insurance, $200K in med school loans, and won't have to endure 4 years of residency. My wife is a new doctor and I cringe at the thought of the monthly check she'll have to write for her med school loans when she finishes her residency!

Dude your a ID10T, The College only requires a SAT/ACT if your under a certain age!
