go to college with a G.E.D.?

I have to disagree with the statement about not handling highschool so college workload would kill him. I've had a few friends who did HORRIBLE in highschool and were near top of the class in college. Just a different system, different lifestyle.

It works for some people. Get your education man, don't take time off.

you being sarcastic?
i want to get a diploma, but i ****in hate school. i might just transfer to another, if they dont accept me ima just get the G.E.D and go from there. everybody says that a G.E.D is the same as a HS diploma so **** it.
Let me guess your buddies who dropped out and got a GED are telling you it is the 'same thing'??

I have a GED and while I have a pretty decent job I can tell you I would have a better one if I toughed it out and finished 12th grade..

I doubt it. Doesn't make much of a difference at all, unless you're applying to colleges.

Very true, but with the "what can i do to get by with the absolute least work possible" mentality the thread maker has..hes not going very far

Two guys apply for a job, both did very good in college and are fresh out of college looking for a job. One has a diploma and one has a GED, who do you think they are going to pick?
There are way too many factors for you to say that. My mom dropped out of High School because she was pregnant with me and then she got her GED then went to college, got her masters and now is Vice President of a big company. It all depends on how you make your life brother. GED or HS diploma doesnt mean alot to an company as long as you got your college degree.
