$2790 shipped. Took roughly two hours to put together, with the help of someone who has done about 12 of these. We did go kinda slow though so he could show me everything. It has a horn, headlights, turn signals, break lights, seat belts, etc. I need to call the BMV to see the requirements for getting it registered in this state.

Looks fun. Looks oddly slow though. How fast does this thing get up to. Also is this thing mainly for off-roading type of go kart?

Actually it goes pretty quick. I haven't tested the speed yet, will do that soon. And yes it is for off road. The asphalt will destroy my tires. It has a killer suspension though, taken quite the beating from me so far. I've also had the cops called on me once for driving on the road out to some trails. So once/if I get it registered I won't have that problem anymore.

nobody does.... 90 miles south of Abilene. About a 3 hour drive west from Austin.

Thanks.. It came with a 250cc. I'm actually not even sure of the manufacture, there's not any stickers or anything on it. Would be nice to do an upgrade though!!

i think you could hit 150 on the dash with a type argh..... only in a tcab box though. cough

oh and sick kart, thing to watch out for it rolling them. I had the two seater they used to sell at walmart, but we did some engine work to make it faster. Our brakes didn't work, and I was trying to "drift", went up on two wheels like i was about to roll it, and instead of putting my arms across my chest I went to go push off the ground. Luckily I didn't break my arm and I stiffed armed the shit out of the ground to put it back on all fours. It was a miracle.

nice kit, i built mine out of misc. parts when i was 14 just learning how to weld. 440 snowmobile engine, top fuel dragster front end, 24 inch tires in the back, check it out. these are pics or it in the process, and i threw on some neons for the pics, and cuz i thought it was cool then.
