I got a jigsaw - I practiced trying to cut in straight lines - I'm still pathetic at it. As for making a hole in the baffle, how in the hell do yo get the jigsaw inside so you can make a circle???? A little off-topic but that's just something I'm wondering.
Drill a hole big enough for the blade to fit through anywhere inside of the circle your cutting out.....Cutting straight lines with a jigsaw is difficult b/c that isnt what its purpose is. Get a circular saw off ebay for like 20-50 dollars. IMO Makita power tools own..

j/w gauntlet...was that work when the box was made or now? I mean ****, how do u manage working 70hours a week and school and ****, and still be online soemtimes. U be crazy man...lol. peace

It's just during the early summer/fall....like mid-late May until October. Work is what caused my kick panels to take a month to make. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bawling.gif.6287aa5d1d447c8af063fc9466e822ef.gif

And I repeat

What are these circle cutters you speak of?

and also, why can't you make a box with just a jigsaw? I sure did. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

any questions? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thats what i did on my HT box, but the shitty thing is one of the clamps got loose. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It's a not-so-straight cut anymore. I gotta buy some C-clamps for my next project.

it's a nifty little device that rivals the router's perfect circle accuracy. All you need is a drill. By the time you're done settting up the router, your hole (up to 20"+) would be finished. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Dustin is not the only person to have it now, though. Also sold it to another guy who approached me via pm. He's extremely hapy with it.

I'll take orders now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if the thing got loose, tighten the bejesus out of it next time. I've cut 6' in length before, and it was a straight cut using this method (course, it took forever). You should get clamps like mine, those that has big C-H-I-N-A letterings and cheap lacquered paint on it.

It's the metal thing behind the capacitor. It virutally lasts forever, so long as you sharpen the blades from time to time.

Much quicker than doing this:
