So then why even piss with it?Yes, they were insured.
The reason I freaked out was because of this statement;Jesus, people. Yes, I'm filing a claim with USPS,
I bent the edges of the frame back into normal position,
I just would like to know if I could salvage anything from this comp set.
Bingo.Well, if you altered the product prior to UPS inspecting it, that gives them a valid reason to deny your claim. Which means no money and a broken product for you.
Yeah, you're right, I shouldn't have bent the frame back, but the people at USPS (not UPS) are so dumb that I don't think they'll notice.The reason I freaked out was because of this statement;
Well, if you altered the product prior to UPS inspecting it, that gives them a valid reason to deny your claim. Which means no money and a broken product for you.
Not worth it. The damage to the mid looks to be pretty extensive.....just simply not worth it. As for the tweeter; can't tell if the grill is pushed back far enough to where it's touching the tweeter or not. But, like with the mid.....not really worth it to find out. The RE tweets aren't anything too special anyways.
Um... there's a few holes on the backside of the tweeter, but no screws, other than that, there doesn't look like a way to get the tweeter apart...Well, dismantling the tweeter shouldn't be too hard to get the grill off to bend it back.
Lol, "Yeah, I'd like to file an insurance claim." "You haven't tampered with it since you recieved it, have you Sir?" "Yes... :blush:" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gifAnd I definitely wouldn't say anything about dicking with them prior to their inspection //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif And I wouldn't do anything further.
