glue for attaching surround to cone

You can use a standard 2 part epoxy for foam-to-paper. I wouldn't use CA since it may harden before you can get the surround set properly. 5 minute epoxy should be fine.

Have you considered contacting RD to get them to repair it? It might be a warranty issue.

Epoxy will crack off...best bet is vulcanized CA glue

PS there isn't a thread of kevlar in that cone, regardless of what they may say.

stupid friend issue, i just pulled off the old one instead of doing a complete recone.

Hobby Shops have CA glue, you can put it on get it set however you want and then apply the accelerator, or you can just let it cure on its own, over acceleration causes it to become brittle and crack

I just fixed mine like this bout 2 weeks ago, i have a thread somehwhere about it. I used Extreme Power Thick from Hobby Lobby, worked fine...

well mine is COMPLETELY off, i cut it off and just got a complete new one, just needs glue to put it back on.

Nah, but u can almost tell it was. That glue worked perfect and only cost my $2.99
