Give my cousin some suggestions for a SQ system

OK here's the thing...my cousin just got a 2006 Dodge 1500 (hemi). He wants to upgrade the whole system. He doesn't want something too loud but rather more SQ than SPL. I told him to lets just make it a SQ setup and he said ok. What subs, speakers, amps, and H/U do you guys recommend? Budget around $800 or a little more.

Wouldn't your 2k+ posts be able to help me out??Thanks for the help and no im into SPL and I don't know much about speakers and can careless about them. Im running my stock speakers in my car. Plus he doesn't have much space to work with since he is placing the subwoofers under his back row seats. The subs barely have room. Thats why I need suggestions on what sub would sound good in a small enclosure like that.

More like one set of components.

If you want an SQ system, you also want to image it propery. Not having conflicting sound cones is a step in the right direction.

Look into some CDT comps for him and this little 8" carbon fiber sub here.

Then get one 4 channel amp. Or a 3 channel if you can find one. If it's a four channel, bridge two of the channels for the sub.

anyway, that should be a good start with out completely depleting your savings account.
