Thats great news...I dont understand why Ecko would defame the most famous baseball in history anyways...but I highly doubt he would sell it. 800K is nothing for either one of those guys, so I dont see him needing the money.

all this controversy over bonds hr record is stupid. i think the ball should just be given to the hall of fame without being branded. he hasnt been proven guilty yet. in a sports illustrated a month or so ago it showed his stats side by side and there really isnt a huge jump in his numbers from year to year. aside of a few seasons he didnt have an astronomical amt of HR's. in any given year.

but he can play basketball pretty dam good...

I'm actually rooting for the ball to be branded... couldn't think of a better way to figuratively brand an asterisk on the record than by putting it in the hall of fame... Would be a great site to be seen for years to come. Maybe then can put it in the hypodermic / balco section?
