So I'm walking back to my car in the Wally World parking lot today and I hear it.

Some loud noise that sounds like a trash can being rolled down the street to a beat.

I look over and it's some banged up Benz with chrome rims on the rivers side but

stock rims on the passenger. My luck, he parks right behind me. I noticed as I was

walking up some bright red thing coming out of his hood and into his door, and I

thought, "No wayyyy, that's not his power wire,". Well folks, I was wronggg.

Ah that brings back memories. My bro ran his wire in a similiar manner. It got cut by the door and started on fire all the way back to the fuse. Filled his entire car with yellow smoke. We both freaked out because we thought it was going to burn his car down. Lesson learned there.

I am guilty of a little ghetto installs on my part. I didnt have a grommet and I couldnt find a hole in the firewall so i ran it down the wheel well and then through the rubber door joint and down into the carpet. Can't see it and it doesnt cause problems when the door opens, but i know it's there and it's tormenting me.

You couldn't go through the steering column grommet?

There was enough room on mine to fit a run of 2awg and the two runs of 8awg for the radio stack...
