Getting Tire of my 4000dvd

I have had it close to a year. A common problem I'm getting is nasty engine whine. Everything is securely grounded. Power run one side, RCAs the other. KnuKonceptz Klarity RCAs ( triple shielded,w.e ). I kinda wanna just move on instead of bothering with it. I want to stay away from Pioneer, although I love the look of the new 4100dvd.

The units I was looking into are:

JVC KW AVX 820

Eclipse AVN 6620

Kenwood DDX 7120 ( if i can get for the low )

Kenwood DDX 712 or 714

Now I have seen that the kenwood units have a 13 band EQ or is that on the 812 & 814? The kenwoods are on top of my price range. Navigation is not necessary but if it can be had in price range then great. I'm just looking for a solid 7" indash for under 650 if i can.

Any help would be awesome or input. I know the jvc's are infamous for slow usb speed but if i can get a good price i'll deal with it. Eclipse seem solid. again any input would be awesome.

i own the JVC 810, and the USB isnt slow, but the ipod is.

i love kenwoods, always will, but for the price i got the JVC(and the fact i will never use an ipod) it's doing everything i need, and sounds clean.
