Getting sponsored? All out only?

How many people out there are sponsored and do not have any 110% modded out show car?

Id like to get sponsored by knukonceptz...considering theres not a single place out here that sells thick quality 1/0 wire like them. Think itd be a possible opening in my case.

But i dont have a show quality brand new car decked out with a body kit, 20' chrome rims.....is this going to be a problem?

Just asking what it takes?

Hooker Audio, Kicker Hyperflex, Stinger, there are tons of good 1/0 awg wire manufacturers.

Sponsorship is very hard to get, especially in the audio world nowadays.

You need your car to get attention and you have to be noticed on the car show scene.

If you have been in magazines, that will help.

Go to 10+ shows a year.

Wire sponsors are near impossible to get without any other sponsorship, you usually have to be part of a manufacturing team that has a wire company as a co sponsor, the team basically gets a group buy discount thing.

If you are 1 guy trying to get a few feet of cheap 1/0 awg for your personal install, it just aint gonna happen.

oh no nothing like that ^^^^ just wondering....im trying to get on the scene out here "status" wise but there just isn't much. Besides loitering around audio shops(2 good ones) id have to just drive the streets beating like mad "gang style" trying to attract attention haha.

if you are looking for a full ride kind of sponsorship you will need that car that people bust a nut over. I know that some companies will sell their product at a discount and not require alot from you. i was working with CDT and they were getting me some good deals and wernt requireing alot regarding shows and such. My caris nothing special either.

sponsorships are really hard to get. main info i can give is to call a company with cash in hand and place a substantial order and ask them about a sponsorship. Youll have to start out with a partial....usually just being some discounted prices and stickers and what not. Manufacturers love it if you have their gears and stickers and go to shows and what not and take pics with the sticker ON your vehicel and people looking at it and what not. Most people get hookups from car audio places and just take their discount and sticker and run which is why a lot of people arent sponsoring as much anymore. If you dont bullshit manfs and actually spend money through them and show them that you take their help seriously things will begin to open up for ya

right now is real tough for any companies to sponsor because of the current state but all I can say is do what some of the posters said before and keep asking. Something might open up. Good Luck

you win a lot of car shows, or win a lot of spl events. Plus you must have your heart into it and go to many shows. Money helps a lot!!!!

I have been doing this for 13 years and have been to hundreds of car shows and comps, and I have won dozens. And I have been in magazines and have worked on cars for TV shows.

It took along time before I was able to get sponsored.

9 times out of 10 a sponsorship requires a large $$$$ initial investment by you and a ton of time on your part as well attending shows. Your car can't be a shitbox either. No company wants to have their products displayed in something that belongs in a junk yard.
