getting rid of wood smell

i built a box that takes up my whole cargo in the explorer, the box has been sittin in the garage for a week or so, anyway my whole car spells like mdf, and its not a good smell, what could i do to cover it up?

stick a "new car smell" tree in the port and watch it work its magic. lol. but seriously, i would wipe the box down with some of that orange cleaning stuff. thats what i did.

i dont mind the smell either but it seems like everyone else does, will carpeting make any difference seeing how the sub will still be pushing out air through the port

I spray febreeze inside the port.

Also takes care of that pesky burning copper smell..
