uuh do you want to have a super sweet fast car or somehint decent reliable and fast.... If it were me in your situation i would look for an audi a6 or s4. Evos and STIs are sweet but think about the future of the car.. Do you wanna get 19 MPG for 4 years(48 month financing) or a decently modable fast car with decent MPG. But with your choices posted I pick 2002 bugeye wrx with tons of work!!!!

i'm not worried about MPG. I just want something that I'll be able to mod, but big enough to keep if i have a fam.

i dunno i prefer audi even thought they are bbasically the same.. the r32 is a sweet as ride, has that sexy(in my opinion) hatch gti style, is AWD and turbo, but isnt a sedan like the a4 1.8t which can be heavily modded. Or the 2.0t with decent aftermarket world.. I currently am in the audi S4 market with 3-4 with 60-80 thousand from and 00 to an 02, I looked at worked 1.8t audis at the same "dealership" and i would much rather the interior of an Audi.

well find a decent milage r32 for 18-20.. I suggest looking into 05ish 350z or is350.

I'd look at the Lexus IS350, BMW 3 series, Audi A4, VW GTI, Nissan 350Z. I'd Get the STI over an Evo any day giving only those choices.
