I recently found out from my grandma that for graduation i'll be recieving $5,000 cash from her alone. I WAS going to invest in an engine swap for my 84 mazda rx7 but im not sure if thats such a good idea. Ive heard from a lot of people the rx's arent reliable at all and well, i live in buffalo ny. Here the summers are very hot and the winter's are unbelievably cold with a slight chance of 6 ft of snow per snow storm. I've now been thinkin about buyin a kit and engine seperately cuz i dont have the money to throw around for a new car. Any suggestions on an inexpensive yet ballsy car? I want something that will not just turn heads, but leave em in the dust as well...

Why not do the smart, logical thing, and invest it?

Take a little bit to spend on yourself, and put the rest into an IRA or something.

88 and up 300z? used to have one they're pretty fast and can get one for 2500 or so...
