im gettin amp for comps, wanting to know how u hook up the RCAs? Is there a front and rear RCA input on the back of my headunit? I already got rcas for my sub amp running to the back.

Also where would be the best place to mount a small amp? under a seat, or would that create more heat? or in the rear somewhere next to my sub amp?

Yes, there should be front and rear RCA outputs on your HU.

In the rear by the sub amp if you have room.

It should have at least 2 sets of RCA's, but some lesser brands or lower end models only have a single set of RCA outputs. If this is the case, you'll either have to utilize one of your amps' pass thru capabilties, or use a y-splitter to get signal to both amps.

And the BEST place to mount an amp is whereever it will get the most amount of airflow to dissipate the heat from the heatsinks. However, most amps today are pretty tolerant of more extreme temperatures, so it should be fine under the seat.
