I have recently added sound to my 97 jeep wrangler including deck and new speakers. I now want to add a sub and amp to get the bass going. I have been seriously looking at either a single rockford fosgate 12 inch hx2 or a Solo Baric. Which one of these subs is superior (i.e loudness, clarity) and will just one 12 inch in the back of my jeep be powerfull enough to really get loud? Any suggestions on how i will fit either one of these in the very small space that i have in the back of my jeep? What amp do you suggest to power either one of these? All comments are welcomed. Thanks

Kicker L5's or L7's will give you more quality thumps, and could get louder as well...

but as personal preference, it's always RF's for me...they also get VERY loud, too loud for you to test their limits when confined in the car itself, but both of these need a box which will not be small... since you want small, it should be a sealed box.. the RF's might be a better option since the L7's need a BIGa$s box... oh, and how much power do you have i.e. amps?

to get really loud, and limited space, maybe 4 10"s or 8"s...

There are other subs available in the market that can give you as good performance for less ca$h and use the remainder to acquire a more powerful sub amp.

Why is everyone crampin my style in their sig...lol;)
Yes, the K series is good for small enclosures. The Shiva's would be nice too.

Well I don't have a jeep wrangler but my boss does. He has 2 soundstream spl10's in his jeep and it's loud as hell. I believe the website is just4effect.com. Check it out. he makes boxes for the jeeps as well.
