get louder with the same power?

Hey guys, this might be a stupid question but I wanted to know if it was possible to get speakers that are louder than my current ones(kappas) without upgrading my amp. I know that with subs, depending on the enclosure, size etc..you can get louder with the same power but I'm unsure of how it works with speakers. I'm currently running 75w to each side(JL e2150) and wanted something louder. Thanks in advance.

More efficient speakers can work wonders although you never know if you are comparing apples to apples with the 1W@1meter db rating.

what kind of amp do you have? and yes, you can get louder on the same power. otherwise everyone with 1000watts would be the same, no matter what subs.

if they're coaxils you can swap to a component set... you'd notice a major difference

If your vehicle is a total tin can, then deaden the hell out of everything. You will then find that the music at the same volume sounds a lot louder, and not to mention, a lot clearer.

i bet my 4 12's off of 1200rms will be louder than 1 15 off of 1200rms... simply from surface area advantage... but it's purely install dependent.
