Get it fixed or scrap it?

well im a college student and its not functional at the moment just keeps going between protect and green constantly im probably just gonna put it up and get a new one and get a tech look at it later to see if its worth fixing.

Well if it is a transistor how much am I looking at to get it fixed?? Would it be easy enough to do my self? I'm in my second year of electronic engineering but I haven't started studying boards yet just into my calculus and such.

I had a similar problem with a different amp, I took the top plate off to look at the board. To my surprise the main board had a crack in it, I would check the board first. Then I would probably sell it and get something better.

i'll post up some pics tomrrow its too cold to go outside today, haha. I looked at the board and it didnt look messed up as far as i could tell. Im not an expert in electronics but i seen no obvious problems.
