I HAVE ASTOCK IN DASH 6 DISC CHANGER. IF I DO DECIDE TO UPGRADE TO A NEW HEADUNIT, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE IN DASH 6 DISC CHANGER FUNCTION. ARE THERE HEADUNITS OUT THERE THAT WILL SUPPORT THIS FUNCTION WITHOUT HAVING TO GET A SEPARATE DISC CHANGER. AND CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME ADVISE ON SOME SOLID HEAD UNIT @ AROUND $350??? THANKS

Most of the time indash CD changers are built into the headunit if I'm not mistaken. Honestly, you are better off replacing the whole system. Most any head unit you can add a CD changer later on, and you are able to mount it wherever you please. Most head units today also will accept MP3 cd's, and you can burn 250+ songs on an MP3/AAC/WMA disc, which is much more music than 5 music CD's. You can also buy HU's that have iPod controls, and many will let you hook up any MP3 player with an AUX adapter.

Those solutions are easier and cheaper. Also, aftermarket CD changers will have higher fidelity and be better for overall SQ imo.

Take it for what its worth.

My stock headunit already has mp3 dvd music and etc. I just don't want to get into something where I might regret it later...like if I have to buy a new disc changer:crying:
