lol. the lights i turn off at night when i sleep to somewhat mimic a day/night cycle. it does get pretty cold in my apt so i have HER a low wattage heat rock in case she gets cold. the gecko can take the cold way better so when his light is off it doesnt harm him at all. Generally high wattage heat rocks are bad since the snakes can burn themselves on it. they also dry out thier skin which is bad durring shedding times. but mine is small and not very hot, just a little something something in case she gets cold at night. it being right next to the hide box is nce since she can probly feel some of the heat through the box.

Forgot to add both reptiles are Female.
