Gas ****

ummm... no. It will lessen how far you go. but it will not change the fuel consumption of the engine.
Duh! My point was to point out how incredibly silly his post was ... "oh wow, your caravan has poor mpg, it must have a small tank." I was trying to support his lunacy. Man, internet humor is hard to get across.

Why are all of you *****ing about gas prices? America has the lowest in the world. I met a person that recently arrived from Holland. After calculating it out it comes to almost $7.00 a gallon. So stop your whining!

Yep, in europe gasoline is very $$.

Thats why they use diesels and drive faggish little cars

. Man, internet humor is hard to get across.
Shure is ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Just a bit of advice everyone.

Buy your gas when its cold, usually in the morning

Colder gas is denser.

buying gas when its hot, less dense, less gas

Hey Supa, how can I get some better gas mileage? The engine in the van only has about 50k miles on it and it's a 3.0L V6, so I shouldn't have any probs there. I know that it's running rich, most likely because of old sensors. The gas mileage was quite a bit better before I put my system in, but it's freakin' terrible now. I seem to burn the most gas when I'm just driving in town stopping / starting, way more than on highway or idle.

1.85 or so here, anywhere between 1.60 and 1.90 lately, but gotta love the 2.0 4 banger in the Jetta, 30+ miles to the gallon driving like a bat out of hell. And I don't want to hear anyone ***** about gas..I'm a pizza delivery guy as a second job, 100+ miles a day on that alone

So are my mom and dad.

They pay alot more for gas then you.

So you quit the █████'n //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/moon.gif.9d317aec3339ffe7fde0638df52c628a.gif

im my stang i drive about 50 mi a day and a full tank($25 @ 2.02 gal) lasts me from sunday morning till friday night. i dont drive fast though and dont get on it unless im pestered by lil ricers.

when i fix my jeep so its driveable on the street again im expecting that a full tank is gona run me about 30 bucks and should last me 2 weeks easily.

So I bet I'm not the only one here getting completely ***** by gas prices. It's not really the $1.90-$2.00 prices that **** (I know those prices aren't bad compared to Cali), but I get some really crappy gas mileage. You'd think an old van would get semi-decent gas mileage, but I've been spending about $5.00 a day just to drive to school and back and just drive around town a bit (about 20 mi. a day) and it's really hurting with me not having a job. So how're you guys doin' with gas spending / gas mileage.

Well if I want to conserve fuel I can get away with driving 35 miles a day. If I don't want to waist my whole day at school I'm driving 75 miles (I have a garbage schedule can't get any classes close together). On top of that to cross th bridge I pay $3 2X if I decide to go home rather than stay at school for the day. There is no bar on campus. This sucks. I'm about to sell beer out of an ice chest or at least bring it for myself brighten up the day.
