Galacticmonkey ROE nub

I understand what hes saying and where hes coming from.

Hes just comparing say a strictly spl streetbeat car that can do a high number but for only 30sec, whereas like all them florida boys with the 4th orders and a lot of speakers can play anything for any amount of time at around low to mid 150s.....i guess thats it

dont know if it matters but i was doin 151's bassrace with 2 18's under the window line in a explorer 4d with 4k..... eighther way who listens to there setup at 150db riding down the road all the time?

i was doing 48's in bassrace with 2 15'' type R's in my explorer. but i agree with you. for daily, a system that can bassrace a 140 is plenty...more than enough. i usually listen to mine at 135 db's. any more will give me a migraine. but then for demos i will power up all the amps and get the 150's going.

it's the whole, "no you can't do that it won't work, you should do this instead, this will work, the other idea is stupid" that is posted ALL OVER ROE all the f-king time. people just get tired of reading his half assed advice that he gives, then when you try to correct him it's "oh thats right you just run a single 12" or "you don't have any experience with 16+kwatts rms" or something stupid like that.

well im actually with gmonk on this one. i listen to my setups full tilt while driving down the road. even with the blurred vision. and i never had problems. id drive doing 150 all day everyday. dont get me wrong sometimes i just gotta turn it down most most of the time its full tilt. but of course i keep an eye on the voltage while doing so.
