gains on my RF "25 to LIFE" amps

seems like this only does it on these amps (i have 4 Punch150s, and 4 Punch45s), any other brand amps i never really noticed this...but anyways, ill have a speaker connected, and ill have the gains on 0. i gradually put the gains up, and the loudness/volume doesnt move. it gets louder only when i get to like right before 3/4 of the way up....is that normal? does this on all of my 150's and all of my 45's...

i just think thats odd, like ill put the gains at 1/2, and its the same as having the gains at 0....

The gain controls are not a volume knob.

The gain is only used for the purpose of matching your source unit's output to your amplifiers input resulting in making the sound cleaner.

i know, was that you on the RF forums that posted that? bnecuase its word for word lol.

i know its not a volume knob, but i mean on most amps, u turn the gains from 0 to 1/4, or 0 to 1/2, and you can hear a difference. this one, from 0 to 3/4 before you hear any differnece.
